Many scholarships and awards are available for Minnesota FIRST LEGO League teams and individuals. Please review the criteria for each award.
Grants and scholarships managed by High Tech Kids support teams from diverse backgrounds, who would otherwise be unable to participate in our programs.
We are fortunate in Minnesota to have so many dedicated volunteers. We could not bring this program to you without the help of MANY volunteers. Did you know that on any given weekend in December we need over 120 FLL volunteers to run Saturday and Sunday events? Now that’s dedication!
If you know a volunteer, coach or young mentor who has gone above and beyond, or who has made an impact on your community or team, we would encourage you to nominate them for one of the following awards. Awards must be submitted by February 7th.
- HTK Special Volunteer Award
- Community Volunteer Award
- Coaches Award
- Young Mentor & Young Leadership Awards*
* Open to students between the ages of 14-18 and who are NOT current members of an FLL team. The winner of each will receive a $250 scholarship from High Tech Kids.
