Summer Camps and Classes

High Tech Kids does not offer summer training for students. This list is compiled as a courtesy and is for your information only. High Tech Kids is not affiliated with any of these programs. 
 
 
GOFIRST - Summer Robotics Summit (SRS)
This annual training event, hosted by University of Minnesota students, is targed to FTC and FRC teams in Minnesota. Subjects covered at the summit include programming, mechanical engineering as well as non-engineering topics. Details may be found on the GOFIRST website under Events/SRS.
 
Abamath
Abamath provides robotics and engineering programs for students from 4th through 8th grade across the metro area. Details and registration information may be found online at www.abamath.com.

 

St. Thomas Academy
Two week camps will be offered at St. Thomas Academy in Mendota Heights for students enter grades 3-6. Students will learn how to build and program and autonomous robot using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 software. Leonardo's Basement

The Works
The Works Museum in Bloomington offers LEGO robotics classes for students in grades 4-7. Please visit www.theworks.org for detailed class information and how to register. 

 
Tech Adventures

Summer Computing Academy at UofM CSE
The University of Minnesota Department of Computer Science & Engineering will be hosting two weeks of programming classes for girls in grades 7-12.
