High Tech Kids relies on the generous support of individual and corporate contributors to achieve our mission of growing today’s young minds into tomorrow’s leaders. Only 10% of our program costs are covered by regional registration fees. We do not receive financial support from FIRST or LEGO where most team fees are sent. |

| High Tech Kids' goal is to raise $5000 from individual donors. We have been given a generous $5000 match if we achieve our goal by December 31, 2010 and have already received $1,350! Help our Minnesota kids to build confidence, create opportunities, and thrive in the 21st century. Donate today or share this opportunity with your family and friends to double your impact! Corporate Volunteer Hours and Matching Gifts
To increase the value of your time, consider your corporate volunteer hours. Many businesses will make a donation based on time spent with our kids and program: 3M, Ecolab, Honeywell, Land O'Lakes, Medtronic and Quality Bicycle Products. Let's add to our list! Our sincere thanks to those who take the time to help us attain these fantastic donations.
You may also be eligible for a corporate matching gift for your financial donation. Check with your Human Resources Department to confirm if you have a corporate or foundation matching gift program. If you have any questions about donating to High Tech Kids, please contact us. We would be happy to assist in any way possible.
How We Use Your Contributions
$20 buys one team award plaque, more than 150 are awarded at regionals
$50 buys one State Championship team trophy, more than 35 trophies annually
$100 buys 36 participation medals, more than 3,000 will be given out this year
$250 buys food for 40 volunteers needed to run each full day event
$500 buys a laptop to run scoring software at tournaments
$1000 buys one tournament site permit
$1500 buys LEGO kits needed for tournaments
Equipment Donations
To donate equipment: laptops, robots, old mat, kits, etc. please contact our office at 612.781.2203 or email sarah@hightechkids.org. We will provide a tax deductible receipt for your donations. These things are given to teachers, schools and others to provide access to our programs.
